Paralegal

Mrs. Berrett is a native of Denver, Colorado. She graduated from Utah Valley State College in 1997 with an associate degree in Paralegal Studies.

Prior to working with Ammarell Deasy, LLP she worked around the Denver Metro area as a Paralegal for law firms specializing in municipal law, construction defect litigation and has spent more than 15 years doing family law.

Her day consists of communicating with clients as they navigate through the sometimes unknown and scary Judicial System and relieving them of their concerns by assisting them in the process. She assists the clients at Ammarell Deasy, with their dissolution of marriage or allocation of parental responsibilities matters with gathering their 16.2 financial disclosures, and collecting discovery responses, and any other necessary records to help build and resolve their case. In addition, she communicates with clients, attorneys, mediators, experts, and Courts to create a proactive and efficient approach to family law.

Stacy is passionate about her family and is amazed by her two college-aged young adult children as they make their own adventures in life. Her love of her family is only rivaled by her love of chocolate. She loves working out, hiking and traveling with her husband.
